Neale joined 2 years ago following a brief stint at Ards and has quickly become an important part of the ‘Gers team, making 64 appearances and finding the net on three occasions.
The left-back’s consistency and tenacity in the back-line throughout his spell at the Club has made him a fans’ favourite and will continue to play an integral role in Niall Currie’s team next season.
Having re-signed the talented youngster, Niall Currie commented:
“Obviously Reece has been with us right from the start of our wonderful journey and I am so happy he has stayed on board. He has been superb and will continue to get better and better.
He's still only a baby at this level but he has shown he has everything that’s needed. Now it’s about developing him into what we feel he can be. He has taken to our wingback role like a duck to water after playing most of his career as a left back. So that tells me all I need to know. He's a great young man.”
Neale was equally pleased to be remaining with the ‘Gers, saying:
“I’m extremely happy to be extending my stay with Carrick, the Club has been good to me since I’ve joined and everything going on at the minute is only looking up - I’d love to be a part of it for as long as I can.
The mentality of the Club and players is superb and the squad is unbelievable to be a part of, so I’m looking forward to the next year or two, see what happens and try to push the Club on as much as we can!”
Glad to have you with us, Reece! #AmberArmy
