Carrick Rangers is delighted to announce the signing of striker Dee Fearon.
Fearon, 24, joins the Club from Dundela, whom he joined from Knockbreda in January. He scored a combined 8 goals in 18 appearances for the Championship clubs last season.
The season before, Dee scored an impressive 17 goals in 21 appearances for Knockbreda which helped secure their Championship survival.
Excited about the arrival of Fearon, Niall Currie said:
“We're delighted to get Dee on board. Dee has shown that he's top drawer at every level he has played at. He now has the opportunity to showcase himself in the top league in the country.
He impressed me so much when we spoke to him - I could tell how much he wants to show and prove people wrong who have written him off. That for me, is what our Club is about - giving opportunity. His attitude was very refreshing after speaking to many players and I can't wait for him to show what he can do.”
Equally pleased, Dee added:
“I'm delighted to have signed - I can't wait to get started here and hopefully hit the ground running. It's a great club with great fans so I can't wait to see what the season has in store for us, hopefully it's as good as last year if not better!”
Welcome to Carrick Rangers, Dee! #AmberArmy
