Anderson joined the club at the start of last season on loan from Crusaders and enjoyed an impressive campaign as part of the promotion-winning ‘Gers squad; making 33 appearances and scoring three goals.
The 21-year-old’s permanent deal will see him again link up with his teammates in the new season as they compete in the Danske Bank Premiership.
On securing the young midfielder’s signature, Niall Currie said,
“Lloyd fits exactly what we are trying to do at our club; he has youth and he has hunger. We signed him on loan from Crusaders last season so we were well aware that he was going to be as professional as he was. He has it all ahead of him and like many of our players, he has something to prove. We are absolutely delighted to have him on board after an outstanding season for us last year. He, like the rest of our young lads, now has to show that he is a Premiership player just as I believe he is.”
Having completed a permanent switch to the Loughshore Hotel Arena, Lloyd Anderson commented,
“I am delighted to have made the move as I loved every minute of what was a great season. However, last year was a massive learning curve for myself; I learned a lot about where my game has to be in order to play at the highest level of football on a weekly basis. I am now looking forward to the opportunity to work hard both as a player and as a team.”
Delighted to have you with us, Lloyd! #AmberArmy
