Hunter Joins Coaching Staff
Carrick Rangers are pleased to announce the addition of Andy Hunter to the Coaching Staff.

The former Irish League defender, whose previous clubs include Linfield, Crusaders and Portadown amongst others, joins the Club from a Management position at Grove United. The 36-year-old, is also Manager of the Senior Co. Antrim team that competes in the Super Cup NI.

David McAlinden said: “I am delighted to welcome Andy to Carrick Rangers and I believe he will be a tremendous asset in our quest to move the club forward. Andy is someone I have known for a long time and within the last 2 years I have had great aspirations of working with him, so I'm delighted that's became possible.”

He continued: “He obviously comes with a winner’s playing career behind him and his development into coaching and management at Grove United and Co. Antrim has been impressive. I would like to thank Brian Boyd of Grove United for his understanding in bringing Andy to Carrick whilst also understanding his disappointment. Thanks must also go to Stefan Seaton at Co. Antrim for his help and support, and I have agreed that Andy can continue in that role with Co. Antrim.”

Welcome to the Club, Andy! #AmberArmy
