The Polish striker began his Irish League career at Glentoran in 2007 and enjoyed spells at Loughgall and Newry City before signing for PSNI in 2010, spending the last eight years at the Belfast side. So far this season, the frontman has been an important player for Colin Malone’s side, netting ten goals.
Adamczyk will be no stranger to ‘Gers fans, having scored against his new employers twice this campaign! In the first game against PSNI this season in September, Adamczyk opened the scoring by chipping Aaron Hogg, and also scored PSNI’s second goal in Rangers’ 4-2 win against them at the end of October.
Having bolstered his attacking options, Niall Currie said,
“I know Lukasz having won the Championship twice with him at Loughgall, and in recent years has shown great loyalty to the PSNI and in truth is a player I have tried to sign on a number of occasions. He’s in great shape, is quick, holds the ball up well, is intelligent and most importantly is a natural finisher. If we can continue to create as many chances in games as we have done this season I have no doubt Lukasz will be a great addition for us.”
Welcome to the Club, Lukasz! #AmberArmy
