Coyle progressed through the youth set-up at Dungannon Swifts from Under 13s through to Under 20s, before making his senior debut for the Stangmore Park side on the 29th April 2017, collecting a clean sheet in a 2-0 Danske Bank Premiership win against Portadown.
The 18-year-old, who has also represented Northern Ireland at Under 16 and Under 18 level, was handed a professional contract by the Swifts at just 17 years of age and arrives at the Loughshore Hotel Arena as a highly rated prospect.
Having secured Coyle’s services for the rest of the season, ‘Gers boss Niall Currie commented,
“Caolin comes to us with a great pedigree as a youth international and is at the age now where he needs to be playing senior football. He can play anywhere along the right side and given that we are short of players in wing-back positions, we are delighted to get someone of Caolin’s calibre on board.”
Welcome to Carrick Rangers, Caolin!
