After their perfect start to the season, Carrick Rangers return to Taylor’s Avenue on Saturday to take on Coleraine in their third league match of the season
The ‘Gers return to action after back to back wins to start the league campaign. The most recent coming last weekend against newly promoted Limavady United at the Showgrounds. Paul Heatley and Aidan Steele both found the net as Stephen Baxter’s side won 2-1 in the North West.
Visitors Coleraine remain unbeaten at the start of the season. A goalless draw with champions Larne, followed an opening weekend 3-1 victory on the road against Dungannon.
The side’s last meeting at Taylor’s Avenue ended in a 1-1 draw back in February. The ‘Gers cancelled out Will Patching’s early goal with a strike from Mikey Place. It was a result that ended a four-game winless streak against the Bannsiders stretching back to October 2024.
