Matthew Snoddy joined Carrick Rangers ahead of the 2025–26 season following five years at Glenavon. A product of Crusaders' youth system, he has also represented Coleraine and Crusaders during a career spanning more than a decade in the NIFL Premiership. Comfortable in central midfield or at full-back, Snoddy brings versatility and extensive top-flight experience to the Rangers squad, having made well over 300 senior appearances in Northern Irish football.
