Trio Depart

Carrick Rangers can confirm that Lee Chapman, Reece Neale and Chris Rodgers have left the Club.

Defenders Neale and Rodgers both depart the Loughshore Hotel Arena on the expiry of their contracts.

Right wing-back Chapman, meanwhile, leaves having turned down a new deal.

The 26-year-old joined from Lisburn Distillery in the summer of 2016 and has spent the last five seasons with the ‘Gers, making 159 appearances and scoring 13 goals, including a brace against Glenavon in the penultimate game of last season.

Left-back Neale departs having enjoyed three years at Carrick, helping the club back to the top flight as he made 94 appearances and netted three goals.

Centre-half Rodgers, like Chapman and Neale, was also a part of the team that won promotion to the Premiership with Rangers as he went on to amass 91 appearances and three goals having joined in August 2018.

Everyone at Carrick Rangers would like to thank the contribution of Lee, Reece and Chris during their time at the club and wish them well for the future.
