Building on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament, which was won by Carrickfergus Model Primary School, we will, once again, see our local primary schools compete for this prestigious trophy.
Carrick Rangers Vice-Chairman John Hood commented:
"We are really looking forward to this year’s tournament and would like to thank all 12 schools for entering. We would especially like to thank Millen’s Centra Foodmarket on Prince Andrew Way, Carrickfergus for their sponsorship and additionally have kindly supplied refreshments for all of the players taking part. Some of our current First Team players and management will be there to encourage the teams, and maybe to spot some talent for the future! This tournament is an important part of our outreach as we want Carrick Rangers FC to be a focal point for the local Town and wider community, and we would encourage all the players and their parents to come back to the Loughshore Hotel Arena to cheer on their local team. We would be delighted to see them and to welcome them back to any of our home matches.” #AmberArmy #YourTownYourCommunityYourClub
