It will be the first time the 'Gers take on Newry since the Promotion/Relegation Play-Off in 2018 which saw Darren Mullen's side take Rangers' Premiership place.
The first away trip of the season will be to Solitude to face Cliftonville a week later before we welcome Coleraine on Tuesday 23rd August.
Linfield will then visit the Loughview Leisure Arena ahead of a visit to Mourneview Park.
