Held in Belfast’s Ten Square Hotel, the evening saw players, management, supporters, volunteers and directors all come together to celebrate yet another successful season both on-and-off the pitch.
Chairman Peter Clarke and Owner Michael Smith sang from the same hymn sheet in their speeches, praising the achievements of both the men’s senior team and Under 20’s while expressing gratitude to all Club stakeholders for their invaluable ongoing support.
When it came down to personal accolades, Danny Gibson enjoyed the most success as he took home both the Club and Spirit of ‘76 SC Player of the Year awards, as well as the prizes for Players’ Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer with a tally of 21 across all competitions.
Ben Buchanan-Rolleston was named Young Player of the Year by both the Club and Supporters Club, while in the Under 20’s, Pearse O’Prey was Player of the Year, Callum Mills the Players’ Player and Jaydyn Withers the Top Goalscorer.
Keith Magill was recognised by the Spirit of ‘76 SC as their Clubman of the Year for his unwavering backing of the side on training nights and matchdays both home and away, while the Hefferon Family were awarded the Club’s Clubman of the Year award for their voluntary contributions across a wide range of areas.
