Glendinning, who turns 29 on Sunday, has registered 132 appearances and four goals for the ‘Gers since joining from Ballymena United in September 2020.
A versatile defender and reliable performer, the ex-Linfield man’s consistent displays in recent seasons have made him a trusted member of Stuart King’s panel.
His set-piece ability also shone in November with a sublime free-kick away to Coleraine which won the NIFWA Goal of the Month award.
Though his season was unfortunately brought to an early end by an ankle surgery in February, he is recovering well and is expected to return to action in preseason.
On extending his stay at Taylors Avenue until 2026, Reece Glendinning said,
“I am delighted to be staying at the Club. Unfortunately last season was difficult for me with my injury and then the surgery but now that it’s behind me, I’m hoping to kick on in the next two years and I am really looking forward to it.”
Rangers boss Stuart King added,
“It is good news to finally get Reece signed again; he is a very important player for us and can play in a number of positions.
“He is nearly back to full fitness and I am delighted that he has extended his stay with us for a further two seasons.”
