A Welcome to Webb

Carrick Rangers is delighted to announce the signing of defender Reece Webb.

The 21-year-old full back follows Ethan Boyle’s arrival at Taylors Avenue from League of Ireland First Division side Wexford and will officially join the ‘Gers when the transfer window opens in January.

Webb made 34 appearances for Wexford during the recently completed 2024 season.

On joining Carrick Rangers, Reece Webb commented,

“I came up and had a chat with Stephen, talked a few things over, trained with the team and all fitted in well.

“I'm looking forward to playing in a new league and look forward to the challenge ahead”

Manager Stephen Baxter added,

“I am really excited and delighted to welcome Reece Webb to Carrick Rangers. Reece is a very talented right-sided player who has two years senior experience at Wexford FC, after a very successful youth career at St. Patrick’s Athletic.

“Reece has all the qualities to become an outstanding player in the Irish League and we are delighted that he has chosen to come to Taylors Avenue to develop his career to the next level. We are looking forward to seeing Reece in a Carrick Rangers shirt very soon.”

Welcome to Carrick Rangers, Reece!
