The Lithuanian-born forward who joined the ‘Gers from Loughgall, has netted 12 goals in 81 appearances for the Amber Army.
Almost two years since arriving at Taylors Avenue, Maciulaitis has put in several impressive performances this season, including a stunning winner against Ballymena which earned the 25-year-old NIFWA’s November Goal of the Month.
Happy to have penned the extension, Nedas Maciulaitis said,
“I’m buzzing to sign the extension, the next two years are going to be very bright for the team with Stephen coming in, it's been a no brainer for me.
When I moved here it was a tough period getting used to the Premiership, but I've thrived on the opportunity and I feel like I'm getting better and better every year, so hopefully, I can keep pushing on and improving on my performances.
I'm 25 at the moment, so I just want to kick on, and be a part of a team, a winning team, that is able to challenge for cups and trophies. Hopefully with Stephen coming in, we can build a team and get stronger year after year.”
Manager Stephen Baxter added,
“I am thrilled and delighted to announce that Nedas Maciulaitis has signed an extension to his current contract which is great news for all Carrick Rangers supporters.
Nedas has really impressed me with his quality, focus and determination to do well and I know he will only continue to get better.”
