Cian to stay

Carrick Rangers is delighted to announce that Cian O'Malley has agreed to extend his stay at the Club.

The 22-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Club, scoring 1 goal since joining from Wexford in the January transfer window. His performances since joining the ‘Gers also earned him the Club’s Young Player of the Year at the End of Season Awards.

Excited about staying on for next season, Cian O’Malley commented,

"I'm really pleased to be back on board at Carrick for next season. I really enjoyed my first year at the Club and can’t wait to push on and help us move higher up the table next season.

I think Stephen is building something very promising and I’m looking forward to being a part of it."

Happy to confirm the news of O’Malley’s extension, Stephen Baxter added,

“We are delighted to announce Cian O’Malley has agreed an extension to his contract for next season.

Cian has done exceptionally well since arriving in January, with impressive performances on a consistent basis.

We are all looking forward to seeing Cian perform for the Amber Army going forward.”

The Amber Army looks forward to watching you again next season, Cian!
