The striker joined the ‘Gers at the start of 2023/24 from Glentoran and scored 21 goals in 45 appearances as he helped the ‘Gers secure seventh spot and a place in the European Play-offs for the first time in their history, picking up Player and Players’ Player of the Year at the Club’s End of Season Awards.

In 2024/25, Danny finished as the Club’s top goalscorer, racking up 16 goals in 43 appearances this time helping the ‘Gers secure their Premiership status with 4 goals in the Promotion/Relegation Playoffs against Annagh United. 

Pleased to have penned the extension to his deal, Danny Gibson said,

“I am absolutely delighted to sign a contract extension with this great Club. I have loved my last couple of seasons here and I'm looking forward to another 3 years.

I can't wait to get back with all the lads, finishing as high up the table as possible and scoring in front of our brilliant fans who have been absolutely super with me since coming here!”
