Stangmore on Saturday

Stephen Baxter’s men travel to Stangmore Park on Saturday, aiming to build on their positive start to the league campaign, having recorded wins against Crusaders and Glenavon already.

It’s been a midweek off for the ‘Gers having had their Gameweek 3 tie against Linfield postponed due to Linfield’s participation in the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifiers.

For Saturday’s opponents, Dungannon Swifts, they travelled to Coleraine on Tuesday evening, losing out 0-2. The Swifts will no doubt be looking to get their first points on the board this weekend having started the campaign with three defeats.

For Carrick, it was a hard-fought 1-0 win last time out at Taylors Avenue, thanks to a well worked team goal, after Paul Heatley wrestled the ball back in midfield, linked up with Joe Crowe and Matthew Snoddy, before squaring to Danny Gibson to slot home.

Stephen Baxter remains without the services of Ethan Boyle, Seanan Clucas (both knee), Reece Glendinning (hand) and Cameron Stewart.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing and travel arrangements.
