Shield Tie vs Glentoran

Carrick Rangers host Glentoran for a place in the last 4 of the ToalsBet County Antrim Shield.

The 'Gers arrive on Tuesday having bounced back from their League Cup exit last week, with a hard-fought 1-0 league victory over Portadown on Saturday, thanks to a 71st minute header from Luke McCullough. In a game of few clear cut chances, it was an in-swinging free-kick from Jack Scott that McCullough rose highest to meet and head home.

For the visitors, Glentoran, they arrive on Tuesday having lost their first league game of the campaign on Saturday, 3-1 away at Dungannon Swifts. Glens would take the lead through captain Marcus Kane in the 22nd minute, before Swifts equalised just before the hour mark. Moments later Jordan Jenkins picked up his second yellow of the game, leaving the Glens with 10. Dungannon then struck twice in the final ten minutes to secure the three points.

The ‘Gers remains without the services of Ethan Boyle (knee), Reece Glendinning (hand) and Cameron Stewart. Whilst Adam Lecky and Seanan Clucas are continuing their rehabilitation programmes.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
