Boxing Day at Taylors Avenue

Carrick Rangers welcome Larne to Taylors Avenue on Boxing Day for an East Antrim Derby clash.

Both sides come into the Derby following close encounters last weekend, Larne recording a 1-0 at Seaview thanks to a Benji Magee goal, whilst the 'Gers drew 1-1 at the Ballymena Showgrounds after Aidan Steele scored his 3rd goal in 4 games, before Daire O'Connor levelled in the second half.

That draw for Carrick making it two score draws in a row, meanwhile Larne are unbeaten in the league dating back to the start of October.

The sides last met at Taylors Avenue in the County Antrim Shield Semi-Final in mid-November, Adam Lecky put the Amber men in front on the night before Ryan Nolan equalised in the second half. The tie finished level before the 'Gers overcame the Invermen on penalties thanks to keeper Nathan Gartside, who saved two deciding penalties in a row for Jimmy Callacher to seal the shootout comeback in sudden death.

Stephen Baxter remains without without Ethan Boyle, Nedas Maciulaitis (both knee), and Cameron Stewart. Joe Crowe and Jimmy Callacher remain doubtful having picked up knocks in recent weeks.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
