The Blues are Back in Town

Stephen Baxter's men will be aiming to build on their success over Queen's University in the Irish Cup on Saturday, with goals from Adam Lecky, Aidan Steele, Joe Crowe, Matthew Snoddy and Danny Gibson meaning the Amber Army progress to the Round of 16.

Linfield also enjoyed cup success on Saturday, recording a 1-0 win over fellow Premiership side Bangor at Windsor Park. Issac Baird with the only goal just before half-time.

It's been over 12 months since the sides last met at Taylors Avenue, back in November 2024. Joe Crowe gave the 'Gers an early lead that Sunday, before Kyle McClean and Joel Cooper netted twice in 3 minutes for the Blues late on, Chris Shields sealed the points from the spot in stoppage time.

Ethan Boyle and Kyle Cherry continue their rehabilitation plans, whilst Nedas Maciulaitis (knee), Cameron Stewart, Seanan Clucas (knee) and Nathan Gartside (quadricep) remain on the sidelines. Stephen Baxter was boosted by the returns of Joe Crowe and Jimmy Callacher to the field on Saturday.
