Moore netted 7 times in 38 appearances for The Swifts, moving on to Ballymena United in 2024.
Moore will wear the number 40 shirt for the ‘Gers and will be eligible to make his debut this weekend.
On joining Carrick Rangers, Joe Moore commented:
"I’m absolutely buzzing to join Carrick Rangers FC and to be working under Stephen Baxter and his back room staff. I'm looking forward to settling in & meeting the players. There’s great quality in the squad and I’m excited for what’s ahead!"
Manager Stephen Baxter added:
"I am delighted to announce the signing of Joe Moore to Carrick Rangers.
Joe is a very talented player who after a short period in professional football in Scotland came to Northern Ireland and played for Portadown, Dungannon Swifts and Ballymena United.
A pacey winger with an eye for goal Joe will bring more firepower up front and I’m sure you will join me in wishing Joe every success as he starts his journey with us."
Welcome to Carrick Rangers, Joe!
