The 20-year-old, known as Keke, joins the club on a short-term deal, currently a free agent, having most recently been at Stoke City.
Born in England, Keke started out in Bradford City’s Academy, before moving on to Stoke City. Whilst at Stoke City, Keke would spend time on loan, first at Torquay and then onto Ashton United.
Keke can play in a number of attacking positions, and will wear the number 35 shirt for the ‘Gers.
Keke is eligible to make his debut this Saturday, at home to Dungannon Swifts.
On joining Carrick Rangers, Keke commented:
“I am excited to be here and can’t wait to get started. The atmosphere the Carrick fans brought to the Final was amazing, I’m really looking forward to playing for the Amber Army.”
Manager Stephen Baxter added:
“I am delighted to announce the arrival of Keke Jeffers to Carrick Rangers.
Keke is a 20 year old forward formerly of Stoke City. He’s a very talented and exciting footballer and we are delighted that he has chosen to come to Carrick Rangers to further his football experience. Our thanks go to Javan Vidal for making this deal possible.
Everyone at Carrick Rangers wishes Keke a very successful period with the Club.”
Welcome to Carrick Rangers, Keke!
