Battle of the Lough

Carrick Rangers host Bangor for the second time this month on Saturday.

The sides last met at the start of February, on a wet Tuesday night, with Carrick winning out 3-2. Goals from Billy Joe Burns, Ryan McKay and Adam Lecky were enough to earn the 'Gers all three points.

Since, Stephen Baxter's men have continued their unbeaten league run that stretches back to 13th January. Most recently earning bragging rights in the East Antrim Derby against Larne last Friday night. That victory was the first win for the Amber Army at Inver Park in 11 years.

For Lee Feeney's men, they will be aiming to pick up a first league win in 7 league games on Saturday, with a draw and five defeats from their recent games. The Seasiders lost at home last time out, 3-1 to bottom of the table Glenavon. Ben Arthurs netting a late consolation goal.

Nedas Maciulaitis (knee), Cameron Stewart, Jimmy Callacher (knee) and Seanan Clucas (knee) remain on the sidelines. Scott Pengelly, Ryan Waide, Ryan McKay and Ethan Boyle continue their rehab plans. Joe Crowe left the field last Friday night with a muscle injury and is unlikely to feature. Adam Lecky could return to the side having missed the game at Larne with a minor knock.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
