BBR Locked In

Carrick Rangers is delighted to announce that Ben Buchanan-Rolleston has signed a contract extension to remain at the Club until 2028.

The 24-year-old left-back, born in Greenisland, joined Carrick Rangers FC Academy at U18 level and has risen through the ranks to become a regular in the First Team.

BBR for short, made his First Team debut in October 2022 at The Oval, and since has made 100 appearances, scoring his solo goal in Round 1 of the ‘Gers successful Senior Shield campaign.

Happy to have penned the extension, BBR said,

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be staying on for another two years. When the gaffer approached me about extending my contract, it was an easy decision.

I’ve enjoyed every moment of my football here. I’m really looking forward to what lies ahead for the club on and off the pitch.”

Manager Stephen Baxter added,

“I am delighted to announce that BBR has agreed a further 2-year extension to his contract. BBR has had a fabulous season playing in both centre of defence and full back positions.

It is wonderful to see a local boy committing his future to the club and we are delighted to see how far BBR can go in the future.”
