Ryan Waide departs

Ryan Waide has joined Glenavon ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The 26-year-old departs Taylors Avenue having made 11 appearances during the most recent campaign, to add to his 8 appearances during a loan spell back in 2019.

The Carrickfergus-native netted once during the 2025/26 campaign, away at Coleraine in September. Waide would also start three of the four County Antrim Shield fixtures, netting a shootout penalty in the quarter-final victory over Glentoran. He would miss out on the Final due to a back injury sustained in early January.

Everyone at Carrick Rangers thanks Ryan for his efforts and commitment throughout his time at Taylors Avenue and naturally wishes him well for the future.
