The 16-year-old centre half pens a deal having recently broken into the Reserve Team on the back of a successful summer, representing the Co. Londonderry Premier Super Cup squad, who lifted the Super Cup Vase. Daniel would also collect the Players’ Player of the Tournament.
Anderson began his football journey with Magherafelt Sky Blues at the age of five before being selected for the SBYL Select side in 2022, winning two All-Ireland titles and the Kennedy Cup, while remaining unbeaten against League of Ireland opposition across 17 games.
In the summer of 2024, Daniel joined St Malachy’s OB Youth FC, helping them secure the SBYL Premier Division League and Cup double.
He joined Carrick Rangers FC in the summer of 2025, becoming a regular of the newly formed U16s. His development continued throughout the season, earning him a call-up to the U18s, where he established himself as the team’s left-back and went on to make over 50 appearances across the U16s and U18s.
